State will be run across 4 days.
Thursday 23 Feb – U9 Water Events – U10 Beach Events.
Friday 24 Feb – U9 Beach Events – U10 Water Events – U14 & U13 Water Events – U12 & U11 Water Events
Saturday 25 Feb -U14 & U13 Water Events – U12 & U11 Water Events -U14 & U13 Beach Events – U12 & U11 Beach Events
Sunday 26 Feb – U11 – U12 – U13 – U14 -Water Finals – U11 – U12 – U13 – U14 – Beach Flags
Different age groups are on on different days and locations so please read the program carefully.
We encourage all regular competitors to enter, if you have not competed at a carnival this season unfortunately we cannot accept your registration for this years state. If you have a strong case or are unsure please discuss with your Age Manager, Catriona Ormond or Anthony Rose.
Competitors may have to choose a preference between beach and water team events as sometimes they overlap – please discuss with your Age Manager.
There is no competing up or down an age group except for relays where you can compete up an age group.
Competition teams for relay events etc are chosen before entries are registered with State. If you register now you are expected to compete and not let your team members down – we do not have options for reserve team members.
Parents will be required to reimburse the Club for entry fees in the case of non-attendance or withdrawal from a Carnival.
This year as we are the Championship hosts, we are not required to provide Water Safety or Officials for the Championships.
We do however have to fulfil many duties across the 3 weeks of competition.
We require families of our competitors to fulfil a minimum of two shifts. This will be a requirement for your Nippers entry into State.
The volunteer schedule will be available shortly or you will hear from your Age Managers.
